My god, this kid is sooo cute.
"...the monster will come in here and kick MY ass!"
Mind you, the cutie isn't saying "ass." You can hear a "k" at the end, so it's not all her mom's fault for teaching her bad words.
Also, at around 0:38, doesn't the kid look like George W. Bush?

Hunger
This is probably the only movie right now that I really really want to see. Everything about it looks so beautiful, and it has been having unbelievable reviews. I know that when I watch it, I'm going to be cringing, crying, and gasping, but I know it is worth it.
It is supposed to open here in December (or March? IFC is confusing me), but most likely in limited release. My sister could've seen it at TIFF, but noooo... she was too lazy to wake up early and watch it. -_-

Lykke Li
Why did I post so much Lykke Li? These videos are pretty self-explanatory after you watch them.
I was right, wasn't I?
I was right, wasn't I?
Dirty Jobs... Mike Rowe
I had posted this on my now defunct "random" blog, but I just had to post it again. This kid is just too gosh darn cute.

Obama For the Win!

America FINALLY got it right! After some major trial and error, the United States of America has finally found its right footing, and will rightfully so, be moving in the right direction.
I've always been fascinated as to why us Canadians are so interested in the US elections, and I figured it comes down to 4 things:
1. An African American is...wait. WAS running, and now is President-elect.
2. Obama has charisma, and eloquence. Something lacking from the last administration.
3. The relationship that Canada will have with the U.S.
4. Sarah Palin. It's sad. But so true.
I hope that someday I can be a part of a Canadian or even an American election that has the same type of impact on the world. It hasn't been since Trudeau that Canada got some of our very nicely-kept feathers ruffled.
As much as I had wished that the Liberals had won in our election, who honestly gave a crap about what Stephane Dion was talking about? Did he inspire you? He can't even play street hockey! We need someone with charisma, and character that will evoke what Canada is really all about, and motivate young voters.
I personally think that someone like Bob Rae or Gerard Kennedy would be more inspirational not only for the Liberal Party, but for Canada. They have something that Stephen Harper, and Stephane Dion are missing as leaders- assertion.
I'm definitely not interested in having another election 2 years from now because that is just a big ass waste of our tax money, but I'd like to see a new face for Canadian Politics. We need someone to "wow" us again.
